Flags, Food and Freinds

I pray that everyone is having a Blessed Day.

I was reflecting on the meaning of the Flag, The 4th, and Freedom. It is awesome. So many have given so much. They continue to give, today on the front Field ; the war on terror. Terror is not terror, unless you are afraid. The enemy will wait us out. They did for 911. My Fathers had passed on before that attack, and to have that generation to see such a thing on our land. To be that unprepared. The sacrifices they gave with abounding reverence for the Flag . For our Freedom.
The retreat that is now being talked about, by people that know not what they talk of. Now that is Terror. But today, I am grateful for all those who have sacrificed and given until it hurt.

Loretta phoned in to say that their grandson Justin is holding his own. The culture reports have not come in yet. She is staying positive.
Loretta said that her and Carl are in Godley, for an old-fashion back yard Bar bee Que. Her nephew is the Host and her sister Pat has come from Louisiana to attend. I pray they will have a great time.
Side note to Carl, the field looks great at the Church. He brought his tractor over and mowed the field out my the road. I bet Bob is glad he would make a few wider swipes each time he would mow the grounds. Way to go Carl. * If you know of other that need a way to go. Let me know. *

Dixie Mc Guffin took her granddaughter Maddison to Glen Rose to the dinosaur park and to other attractions. When she called it sounded as if they were having very active time. She said that they would all go to the Estates , with Ms. Estelle and watch the fireworks. (be safe) I think that Angela Hamn is going to go also. We are proud that she is feeling better.

I found out today that Sherry and Alvins granddaughter Cara is going to get married. So I will be waiting for more info on this subject. We are so glad to hear about this and God is too.

If you had any personal item in the room next to stage, I have placed everything either in media storage room or on top of filing cabinet in Ms. Johnnie's room. There is a very nice pink stripped bag and a sweater and shirt. I like all the other stuff, but I really like that bag. ( so did Georgia) it is on the table in Ms Johnnie's class. How many days for lost and found... HAHAHA
