MY SAVIOUR LIVES

THE EVENTS OF WEEK:

L ET'S START WITH Friday the 26 th.

We as a church body went over to the Ridgmar Mall , to watch the Movie FIREPROOF>. Everyone was thoroughly impressed. The story was very exciting and heart tugging. The movie was centered around a Fireman that does not know God. His wife is bitter and lonely. His father and mother in his view are meddling. Her parents have many medical needs. One of his co-workers is a born again christian and the others are just silly. Her co workers gossip and do not give sound advise. There The Vine will leave it. The story is for all people and all relationships. A side note, my Husband has not been to see a movie since TOMBSTONE, 15 years ago. I had to convince him he would be shamed if he did not attend. He did reluctantly. Since then he has recommended this film to everyone that he speaks to. It was a tie between him and Terry to who use the most tissues. It is a heart warming and penitent movie. Go see it, support this film. And maybe they will make more films that you can take your entire family to.

Saturday the 27th

Monty Stone put up the tent by him self. Josh Riddle the owner of the tent "says it takes 3 men to put up the tent". Well that 's my man. This is just a side-note to say MONTY is amazing and I was amazed when I saw it happening. Hat's off to Monty There was a ton of help to get ready for the outside lunch on Sunday. We have an awesome church and if you do not go to our church YOU SHOULD. Bonnie S. came and helped get all the tables and chairs set up. Jay Aldredge saw the action going on and stopped in and toted chair and kinds of stuff.Wyatt our Grandson helped too. He loves this tent. He loves Gateway. He really loves Bob's candy on his desk. He looked for CC but could not find him. He said "you know Gran Gran that white guy he lives in there". Pointing at the office.

Saturday afternoon the Gospel Band now referred to as Heavenly Highway Singers, went to Wichita Falls and preformed at the Saint Matthew Baptist Church, for the joy of the Lord. Dixie, Gerald, Rosemary, Johnnie, Carl, Loretta, Angie , and her daughter Cassie. The group left about 1.00 in the afternoon and got back around 11.30 that night. Each were at church with their shinning faces on Sunday morning. Praise the Lord and Thank You Heavenly Highway Singers for your faithfulness , along with the spirit of service.

Sunday the 27th: Several areas here. Let's don't waste time:

The music was fantastic. Our praise team knocked it out of the Park. People we have a awesome Music department. David is a very talented director and has an ear to worship our Saviour. Our praise team has so much talent. Then if that was not enough Allen and the Brooks Brothers preforming as Audible Lights teased us with some fantastic song selections, only to find out that we would have to wait until 2.00 pm for the rest of the show.

The Vine will add everyone waited for the 2.00 hour. CC had a terrific message. Do not squash other people dreams, others visions. This is a great point for all of us to keep in mind. The Holy Spirit is available for everyone, but sadly not everyone takes him up on the offer. Every breathe that you or I take from this moment is a chance to turn it all around. Repentance is a truly freeing experience. Speaking to God, with the beat of the heart and claiming that I am sorry that I have gone against your will, forgive me God. How free can one be?

FREE INDEED

After church Joanne and the servants of Gateway put on a meal to beat all meals. Did anyone notice the two guys with the white hats on. The largest problem would have been , my plate was not large enough. I had to make several trips. Does anyone want to discuss the dessert table? Oh MY have you ever seen such a variety of pie, cake I don't know I think I went into a sugar coma. Is it over yet.

After clean up : The Audible Lights put on a show that brought down the house. The harmony was out of sight. God was leaning back on his throne saying "these are my Sons, I am proud". He may have given the angels a couple of hours off to enjoy the show. Well done.
