The week in Review.

Gateway Community Church is alive.

The Holy Spirit is moving strong.

The Spirit of God smiles when Gateway worships. We are the Body. I pray that if you have not experienced our church, you will come and be apart of a growing, loving, Holy Spirit led Body of Christ. We invite you to one of our diverse Sunday Bible Classes, beginning at 9.30 am. Our worship service begins at 10.45. We begin with music and song raised to the Glory of the Lord, then Pastor CC takes the pulpit. Our church is prayer filled , we love you and want to bring the Gospel of Christ to our community.

The week has been Busy and Blessed. There is a lot on the horizon.

Linda and Joe are busy with the plans for the Fall Festival. There is a great need for our help. The plan is for 10 to 12 activity booths. There are some easy ideas that David will passing on the information or you can goolge Fall Festival booths.

Sunday we will notice several people missing from our service. A group of our members are going on a cruise. This is a trip of a life time and we are all very proud for them. I pray that you will join Gateway in prayer. Pray for safety of all transportation, pray for the personnel that will be assisting the members of our church. Pray for the beauty they all will see, God's Glory is on display for the pleasure of the viewer. Thank You God , all honor and praise goes to you the King of Kings and Lord of Lord. In Christ name AMEN

The nursery is on schedule for a makeover. Items that have been on back order, well they have arrived. Before installation, the decision was made to update the environment. A new coat of paint, new shelves, updated wall hangings. The remaining cabinet will need to be painted first they have to sanded. Help is requested.

We will also be searching for 1 or 2 sets of closed cabinets to hang on the wall. This will replace the open book and storage units that currently take up precious floor space. If you happen to have a couple of cabinets hanging around, that you no longer need Let the office know. If you know of someone that knows the art of mural painting let the office know.

WELL YOUR SERVICES ARE REQUESTED for the update. ALL hands are needed.

The youth is on the move. The Vine has heard that they are going to the promise. How wonderful. Pray that their young lives will be transformed.

Also Gateway youth will enter a float in the Christmas parade. This is in planning stages. Materail and monies will be a basic requirement. How blessed will Gateway be to see the youth witnessing to Granbury. Please check in with Travis, Clarise, Jackie, Margie, Thamatha and the Lawerences. Church we have an oppurnity, Geteway has a awesome youth , lets show them how proud we are.

Joanne is moving the Christmas Drama along. They are praticing after church each Sunday. Be sure and check in with Joanne and ask CAN I HELP. You may be able to fill in the gap. It takes the entire body to advance the GOSPEL.

CC has expressed interest in placing a Nativity Scene on the property, for our LORDS BIRTHDAY. If you have any ideas or props to offer, maybe you have a camel or a donkey on hand. Contact CC anytime , by mail , by email , smoke signal or phone.

David is ironing out the details of the Christmas Choir. Rehearsals have just begun. Several from other churchs and organizations are participating. Remember this is not just for our members or our church. All voices are welcome. Contact David at the Gateway office 817-579-0509. Come and enjoy fellowship, while praising God.

Rhajenna and Chuck are finally getting married . WHEN: FRIDAY . WHAT TIME: 7.00pm . WHERE: GATEWAY COMMUNITY CHURCH. WHO is INVITED: You Are. Cake and punch will be served in the educational building following the ceremony.

This couple has endured and persevered. With Grace and Blessings of God they have come out on the other side.
