PRAY OUT LOUD

While it is a wonderful privilege to share our requests with God, what He really wants is our heart conversation. He wants to know what is going on in your soul -- not because He doesn't already know but because He wants to be with you and interact with you

Praying continually not only means to pray silently, but to pray out loud, talking with Him like you talk with a close friend. Praying out loud involves every sense and solidifies an awareness of His presence. I pray out loud about everything from a parking space to the greatest crisis in my life. I have found that an ongoing conversation with God makes Him more real to me and deepens my relationship with Him.

God never meant praying to be a burden but rather the most wonderful privilege of life. Don't miss this precious gift to you from God. He is waiting, listening for your voice!
Let's Pray Lord,
I want to know You more.
I truly want my prayer life to be as natural to me as breathing. Help me to learn how to pray, to share everything with You honestly and openly.
By faith, I thank You for hearing me and loving me.
Thank You for the gift of prayer.
In Jesus' Name
Amen.
What is going on at Gateway Church
Sunday March 1st there will be an ordination of Ministers. This is going to be a great day.
Marvin, Kalrice, Travis, Linda and my beloved Monty. I just had to add that.
This will be very profound service and The Vine prays that all will come. Most we pray that the Holy Spirit comes. Alvin and Dan will also be ordained as Deacons. These are men and women doing as God wants. Up lifting them is so important.

After the service the youth will serve a spaghetti dinner. The proceeds will go to the mission trip.I don not about you but, I love spaghetti . A good dinner a Pasta Fina would cost about 10.00. That would be a great start. If 100 people come and give at least $10.00 what would be the outcome for the youth. Now that would be something.

Carie's restaurant is hosting a 99 cent pancake extravaganza to benefit
JOSEPH'S LOCKER.

This event will be on Feb. 26th. Carie's restaurant is a faithful supporter of the Locker. They are always there to lend a hand. You can pay more that 99 cent the profits go to
The Locker.

For those of you who not know , My mother Adell and stepfather Richard began The Locker. God told them to clothe the naked, feed the hungry and tell them of Christ Jesus.
They obeyed and Joseph's Locker was born 19 years ago. The Locker has stood on it own with the financial help of the community for as many years. Mother started out of the trunk of her can, then moved to the closet, then to a small building next to the old Church of Christ and to the present location on Paluxy Road.
A private donor has donated land on Hwy 51. With this donation we are going to build a new building. Joesph's Locker is stepping out in faith, knowing that the community has always supported us,we are going to build a building. The finances will come.
With the help of local business, Church's and private donors Joseph's Locker will grow.
God gave Mother a vision and she got out of the boat.

Right about know you are asking how can I help?
Well that is a great question.
Monetary donations are the best.
In 19 years The Locker has never had a complaint or a question about how the funds were DISPERSED.
250 to 270 families are served each month.
Ten dollar donation equals 100 pounds of food.
Clothes donations while important, please bring only clothes that are weather appropriate.

There were several people out on the church property yesterday . Tractors, pick-up trucks all the toys men like. I did see someone plowing on a tractor. Now while this is not an unusual in it's self, but plowing in starched clothes is.
That could only be one person Eddie. I have never seen anyone plow in starched clothes.
Have you?
Bonnie is going full steam ahead on the garden project.
GO GIRL
There are now hand sanitizer stations located by the water fountain, the nursery and Sonshine room. Flu season is in full swing. With members on chemo, radiation and general illness we must all be mind full to wash and sanitize our hands.
Thank You
