Happy Birthday Wyatt

As you might can tell, it is my grandson Wyatt's 3rd birthday. Life is very simple to him.
Gran Gran has all the answers. He looks at me with such love. Today is a happy day, everything is going his way. Tomorrow he will probably throw a big fit, get put in time out and maybe even get a spanking but today, He is sugar in shorts and light up shoes. I pray he had a good day.

Well tomorrow is Sunday. I am looking forward to praise and worship and CC message. I thank God for living in the land of the FREE.

Her is the news as I know it :

Dixie's son, Jimmy and his new bride Jerri , returned from their honeymoon, Saturday. They brought Dixie the usual gifts, they do not even know , but they gave her the best gift ever. Getting married and accepting Jesus as the center of that marriage. Dixie and her daughter Erin, went to Austin, they left Wednesday. Erin had to check in with her advisor at college. She is off to college this fall. Hard to believe. I was there the day she was born, how old am I. I spoke to Dixie and they were all out by the pool enjoying the Austin evening on Thursday. I believe that they returned home today. A good time was had by all.

Chad , Randa, Margie and the Birthday boy (Jackie) I''m 40 Monday, will be gone this Sunday. The entire group will travel to San Marcos and go down the river. Everyone was very excited, making plans and laughing Wed. night. Sounded as if they are intending to have a great time. Their absence will be felt.
Randa has a volunteer: Yea!! to fill in on the sound board. Tommy Reese, he and his wife have attended our church , on several occasions. We can only pray that, this is the opening that God has put forward, to bring them to attend regularly. Gateway welcomes them with open arms. Be sure to say : Hi , thanks and welcome them personally. He look a little like Telly Savalas.

My baby sister Frances and her family left for Mexico Friday. She has a resent back strain and was unsure if she would be able to go. I just received a call (from Mexico) and she is there and having FUN IN THE SUN . I am glad for her, she works hard and has 3 boys 2 years apart. She deserves a vacation. She deserves a metal.

Johnny Couch will be gone Wed. 23rd. Linda Lawrence and Joe will have a puppet show for the nursery through 3rd. The kidos will have a hot dog and chips in the sanctuary 6.oo to 6.30 then walk over to the ed. building to enjoy the puppets. A way to go , to Linda and Joe. A side note:
The combined classes, NURSERY THROUGH 3RD HAD Ten children Wed Night.

If you have a Way to Go: Let Me Know.

La Donna Overman a member and nursery worker, had her interview with UPS .
SHE GOT THE JOB. La Donna starts her training this coming week.
God is awesome. It is unclear, if her schedule will allow her to attend the nursery on Wed. nights. Dee Davenport will be in the Nursery Sunday morning.. Thanks Dee.

Gateway is still interested in hiring another worker. Part or Full Time. It is a paid position. Keep your ears tuned in.

Wanda and Gerald Mitchell are leaving Sunday afternoon for Gunderson, Colorado. They will be hauling back a 5th wheel for a sick friend. I am not sure how long they will be gone, but it will be a great trip.
Is it just me or is everyone but me , going some where of coming back from somewhere.
Wanda has had a lung issue for a month or more now. Maybe the mountains will do her some good. She also has laryngitis. Gerald is smiling a lot lately, have you noticed. HA HA

Bob and Marsha Patterson have traded in the maroon truck, for a Toyota Highlander . I am telling you without doubt that Bob is a liking it. I think that they are picking it up today. We will look for it in the parking lot Sunday. Stop by and ask him about it. He got a deal.

Carl replaced the faucet in the kitchen . It is great. He says: I owe him big time. it was no small ordeal to get the old one off and out. Rusted a bit, or so I was told. I used the new faucet today. It is nice to have a taller faucet and the sprayer works too. Check it out.

Thanks goes out to Carl. He and Loretta have a lot going on right now. For him to take the time to serve well , everybody knows how I feel about Loretta and Carl. Justin, their grandson, is holding his own . I spoke with Loretta at 1.00 pm and his fever was staying around 99. He still had a bad headache. The doctor wants him to try and move around. He is NOT into that right now. But Nana (Loretta) said after his rest, she would help him get up and out of bed . Yeah . Nana said get up boy. He will get up .

Don't forget the business meeting Sunday night. They will be presenting the budget.
All who have a ear, lend it, listen, and vote.. Yall Come.

Heard a couple of sayings, this week. Ready, you sure. Okay here we go:

God answers KNEE MAIL . Give Satan and inch and will become a Ruler.
