Thoughts of the Day

God is your Shield. No buffets of the world can harm you. Practice feeling this shield until nothing has the power to spoil your inner peace.

Does something or someone have the power to spoil your inter peace? This would be a choice to give up, inter peace, healing, happiness. The list could go on. I struggle with this question?
Do I give it up or does it get taken away? Is there a real difference?

I went to the church early today. I piddled around and found myself sitting on the first row. Just looking, not at any one particular thing. My Granny would say : I was pondering.

These were some of my thoughts:

We as a church are Blessed , to have CC as our Pastor. He is well educated. He handles himself calmly under pressure. He loves GOD with all of his Heart. It shows in the decisions he makes, the words he speaks and most, in the way he Prays.

We are Blessed, to have David as our Pastor and music leader. He is a wealth of experience and talent. He brings years of music to the stage. He loves his calling, his wife and our God.

The talent in this church is overwhelming. The wisdom of the people in leadership. The wisdom that sits in the chairs. The praying , God fearing, mission oriented, loving souls , that come through our doors each week. Not just on SUNDAY, but everyday of the week. Today for instance: At least 8 different people were at the church . Working, preparing , repairing and AND SOME JUST mulling around. One can make the difference.

I will finish tonight with this:

I am so Thank full to the members that kept the doors open to this wonderful church until God saw fit to bring me here. BLESS YOU!!
